1. About Me - Cultivation and Reading#
A serious liberal arts student, a hard worker unwilling to compromise with mediocrity, someone trying to maintain a bit of hope and pursuit.
I advocate for the spirit of open source and sharing, hoping to share useful things through blogging, promote self-growth, and also make it convenient for others.
2. About the Blog - Infinite Cultivation and Reading#
This blog is named "Cultivation and Reading," which signifies that in life, besides the hard work needed for survival and living, one also needs to read and think to seek truth and light; both are indispensable, hence the term "Cultivation and Reading."
This blog aims to strive for originality and accurately convey beneficial and interesting content (unless otherwise stated, all are original); mainly sharing my experiences and reflections on various issues encountered in my life, study, and work, including academic research, technical tutorials, and life insights.
This blog is hosted by Xlog.app, which is based on Ethereum blockchain technology and IPFS distributed content technology, Web3.0, and other technologies, attempting to create a future-oriented web service; it is worth looking forward to.
3. About the Domain - igdux.com#
The domain iGdux.com is composed of the English letter "i" + "Gdu" (derived from the pinyin "Gengdu" of "Cultivation and Reading") + "X" (symbolizing: permanence, infinity), meaning continuous cultivation and lifelong learning; com serves as the top-level domain suffix.
Lesson: I originally intended to register the domain iGdu.com, but due to price comparison and hesitation, within minutes, the domain turned into one with an $8000 registration fee. Because it was expensive, I settled for the domain iGdux.com.
Another URL for the Cultivation and Reading blog is: igengdu.com, for more details, see here.
4. About the Past and Future - Review and Outlook#
4.1 Review:#
Looking back, perhaps because in real life we often encounter fleeting moments, I seem to be in pursuit of something enduring. I have left traces on blogs I previously engaged with, such as Sina Blog, Lofter, Tumblr, etc.; I have also built my independent blog through LNMP+Wordpress or Hexo+Github Pages. However, due to various factors, I ultimately could not sustain them. Yet the pursuit seems unyielding, and in order to better organize my insights and promote my growth, I recently restarted my blog. Considering the energy costs of operating and maintaining the blog and other factors, I eventually embarked on the journey of Blogger (specific summary can be found here). Since Blogger's indexing on Google is relatively slow, and Xlog blog has unique features, including mobile-friendliness, AI-generated summaries, automatic translation, etc., it inspired me to store my blog content here.
4.2 Outlook:#
- Achieve breakthroughs in my profession and share some professional knowledge (which may turn into motivational content);
- Make progress in technology and share technical tutorials to assist others;
- In life, grow and help others, be a loving and responsible person, share life experiences, and promote mutual growth.
5. Conclusion - Thank You for Your Attention#
Thank you for your visit and attention, and I hope you enjoy and benefit from it!
